Our mission: to raise funds for building a much-needed kindergarten, bringing hope and education to children in Cambodia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The event began with a lively warm-up led by facilitator<a href=\"https:\/\/www.teresanorton.online\/podcast\"> Teresa Norton<\/a>, encouraging creativity and connection. Laughter filled the room as guests embraced a sense of community, setting the perfect tone for the meaningful afternoon ahead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Guided by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/chefzurath?igsh=MXZjMHB0OXR0Z2F3OA==\">Chef Zurath<\/a>, we embarked on a culinary journey through Cambodia, savoring aromatic stir-fries and delicate chive pancakes. Each dish offered a taste of Cambodia\u2019s vibrant culture, reminding us of the larger purpose behind the event\u2014making a real difference for children in need.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A special highlight of the day was the auction of a painting by our in-house artist, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/isabel_pinheiro13?igsh=a2gxYWpjOXpocHU2\">Isabel Pinheiro<\/a>, inspired by the spirit of Cambodia. One of our attendees won this beautiful piece, further strengthening the bond between art and cause.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-layout-grid a close, we came together to sing John Lennon\u2019s &#8220;Imagine,&#8221; a moment that united us in hope and shared purpose. The words echoed deeply, especially as we reflected on the sentiment: <em>&#8220;A dream you dream alone is only a dream, a dream you dream together is a reality.&#8221;<\/em> In that moment, our collective efforts felt like the beginning of something real and transformative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thanks to the generosity of our community, we raised EUR 266 to support the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cambodianchildrensfund.org\/get-involved\">Cambodian Children&#8217;s Fund<\/a>&#8216;s mission. It\u2019s a small but powerful step toward building a brighter future for these children.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We look forward to hosting more fundraising events at 2Cookinn and continuing to build bridges through food, art, and compassion.
